Agreement to these terms

AiMenu is operated by WINMONEY INTERNATIONAL SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the AiMenu website, web application, mobile interfaces, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing credits, uploading content, or otherwise using AiMenu, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use AiMenu for a company, restaurant, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not transfer, sell, or share an account in a way that creates security, fraud, or payment risk.

Acceptable use

You may use AiMenu only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload content that you do not have the right to use or process.
• Use the service to violate law, deceive others, infringe intellectual property, or process harmful or illegal material.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, credit accounting, payment controls, rate limits, or service security.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated access in a way that materially affects other users or exceeds documented product functionality.

AI recognition and your review

AiMenu uses automated systems to identify visible dishes, quantities, prices, aliases, and totals from images and documents. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by image quality, handwriting, layout, language, currency, or ambiguous source material.

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting important names, quantities, prices, tax information, and totals before relying on a result for purchasing, billing, accounting, customer communication, or business decisions. AiMenu is an assistance tool and does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

Credits, purchases and payment

AI menu or receipt recognition generally uses one credit after a successful recognition result. Local spreadsheet calculations may not require an AI credit where stated in the product. Credit prices, package sizes, currencies, and included functionality are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases.

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another displayed payment provider. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize the applicable charge. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between unrelated accounts, and may not be resold unless we expressly permit it.

Refunds and billing issues

Because credits are digital service units made available after payment, purchases are generally final once credits have been granted or used, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Contact us promptly if you believe a payment was duplicated, credits were not delivered, or a technical error prevented use of a purchased service.

Any approved refund may be reduced by credits already used and will normally be returned through the original payment method.

Your uploads and content

You retain ownership of menus, receipts, price sheets, images, PDFs, spreadsheets, dish data, aliases, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You confirm that your uploads and instructions do not violate another person’s rights, confidentiality obligations, or applicable law.

Our intellectual property

AiMenu, its software, interface, branding, documentation, design, and service functionality are owned by WINMONEY INTERNATIONAL SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative products from protected service materials except where law expressly permits it.

Third-party services

AiMenu may rely on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, AI recognition, storage, analytics, and payment processing. Your use of a third-party feature may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for services controlled independently by those providers.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, update, suspend, replace, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, performance, legal compliance, provider changes, or product development. Where practical, we will provide notice of material changes.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, AiMenu is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to an automated recognition service. We are not liable for losses caused by unreviewed AI output, incorrect source material, unauthorized account access caused by your failure to secure credentials, or third-party services outside our control.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to AiMenu during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using AiMenu at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address non-payment, fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful activity, material breach of these Terms, or harm to the service or other users. Provisions concerning payments, ownership, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where their nature requires it.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction requirements, disputes relating to these Terms or AiMenu will be submitted to the competent courts of Hong Kong. Before filing a claim, the parties should first attempt to resolve the issue in good faith.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product, pricing, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires another form of consent.
