Privacy for a reviewable AI workflow.

This policy explains how AiMenu handles account information, uploaded menus and receipts, personal price libraries, recognition history, payments, and contact requests.

I.

Who we are

AiMenu is an AI menu and receipt recognition product operated by WINMONEY INTERNATIONAL SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, 19H Maxgrand Plaza No. 3 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Hong Kong.

II.

Information we collect

  • Account and sign-in information supplied through Apple, Google, WeChat, or a supported username and password flow.
  • Contact information you submit, such as an email address, phone number, or WhatsApp number.
  • Menus, receipts, price sheets, images, PDFs, and spreadsheets that you upload for recognition or calculation.
  • Dish names, prices, aliases, currency preferences, calculation results, recognition history, credit balance, orders, and payment status.
  • Technical information needed to provide and protect the service, such as device, browser, IP address, timestamps, and error logs.
III.

Uploads and AI processing

When you use AI recognition, the uploaded image or PDF is sent to an AI service to identify visible dishes, quantities, prices, and totals. If an item has no visible price, AiMenu may compare its name and aliases with your personal price library.

AI recognition can be incomplete or incorrect because of image quality, handwriting, layout, language, or ambiguous content. You should review important prices before relying on a result. Excel calculations may be processed directly without an AI recognition credit.

How we use data

  • Authenticate accounts and maintain sessions.
  • Recognize uploaded menu or receipt content and calculate editable totals.
  • Maintain your price library, aliases, currency preference, scan history, and credit balance.
  • Process orders, verify payments, prevent duplicate credit grants, and provide support.
  • Investigate errors, abuse, security incidents, and service performance.
  • Respond to contact requests and communicate service or policy changes.

Service providers and sharing

We may share the minimum information required with providers that support authentication, AI recognition, file storage, hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. Depending on your platform and region, payment providers may include Stripe, Apple, Google Play, or WeChat Pay.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable safeguards.

VI.

Retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your recognition history and price library, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Uploaded files may be stored so that calculation records remain available.

You can request account deletion through the app or by contacting us. The account deletion flow removes the current account and associated price table, uploaded files, calculation records, credit ledger, orders, and login identities, except information we must retain for legal, security, or payment record obligations.

VII.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis for processing. Contact us to submit a request; we may need to verify your identity.

VIII.

Security and international transfers

We use administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including authenticated access and controlled service integrations. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.

IX.

Children

AiMenu is intended for business and general consumer use and is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

X.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by another appropriate channel.
